Condolence: I was saddened and surprised to learn of Ray's untimely passing. We worked together in Corrections for many years and I enjoyed working with him. He was a good teacher and his ability to cause others to take time and reflect on their actions was appreciated.

He will be missed and I am glad to have known him. My sympathies to his family and friends

Condolence: I am just reading this today, so sad to read that Ray is gone. I had many a fun time with Ray when we were Sgt's in CAPS and the Sheriffs Branch. Always cared about the folks who worked in and around him. He really had a soft spot for dogs his fur babies had lots of stories about all of them. He will truly be missed nit just by me but everyone who knew him.

Condolence: Ray and I worked together with the Courts. I helped him with registration at his dog training classes in Hillhurst for a period of time. Ray was always kind and generous. We spent much time talking and laughing. He always made sure I got home safe.

Condolence: To the family, I extend to you my most heartfelt sorrow and condolences. I worked with Ray for many years at the Calgary Courts Centre. He had a brilliant sense of humour and an inviting personality. Ray and I had many chats over coffee, and he was always open to listen to you and not pass judgment on anyone. His jokes were never-ending, and I will always remember him for his love of dogs and his love for laughter. Ray will be missed by all that knew him.

Condolence: Ray was my training officer when I started at Calgary Correctional Center in 1981. Ray's professionalism was always a high standard that many could attain. Ray always did the right thing even though it might not have been the popular thing. Ray devoted his life to law enforcement and of course his love of dogs. Whether Ray was training officers or dogs he always gave his all and was very good at it. Ray will be missed.
