June 16, 1991 - May 30, 2016
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our much loved son, brother, nephew, and grandson, Zak Kennedy on May 30, 2016 in Sundre, AB.
Zak was full of life and always did things his way right from the beginning. He entered the world 7 weeks early on June 16,1991 in Winnipeg, MB after an eventful medivac from his family’s hometown of Red Lake, ON. He spent his first twelve years in Red Lake before moving to Sundre with his family in 2003. He attended school in Sundre and graduated in 2009 and went on to get his Journeyman Welders Ticket. His parents were so proud. He played hockey with S.M.H.A. for many years and made many friends there. He was mischievous, rebellious, goofy, entertaining and kept everyone on their toes with his antics. He definitely made life interesting. He was kind and caring. He loved being with his friends and his soulmate Faith Prohl.
He leaves behind many with broken hearts - his parents Mike and Liz; brother Nick; sister Pam; and Soulmate Faith. He also leaves behind his Grandpa Hans and Grandpa John, Uncles Hans, Chris (Sarah), Andy, Ross and Aunt Leah(Jason), with cousins; Sophie and Alex, Robyn and Casey, as well as his Desmeules family. He also leaves many friends that were family for him. Zak has several family members and friends to care for him in the afterlife.
