Silvy was born in St. John’s, NL on December 21, 1975. At the young age of 4 months he was predeceased by his father Silvy Clarke Sr. Silvy was raised by his mother until the age of 10 when he was blessed with a new father - Wayne Pike Sr. - whom he considered the best dad ever. Silvy came from a large close family who welcomed Janie (the love of Silvy’s life) into their lives at the age of 14. Silvy moved to Alberta in 1996; he worked at Transfeeders for a couple of years, but left to pursue a career in the oilfield industry as a superintendent at Fabcor until his sudden passing. Silvy always made sure to keep his Newfoundland roots and traditions close. He enjoyed outdoor activities, such as golfing, sports and camping. He loved to tell stories with great expression and pride to his family, co-workers and friends. Silvy married the love of his life and soul mate on July 30, 2005. He considered his greatest accomplishments to be his son Alex and daughter Ariana. Silvy was a hard worker with a contagious personality, loved by many. He was always there to lend a hand and offer advice to his siblings. Funeral services were held on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Olds, AB. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to a trust fund to be set up on behalf of Silvy’s children. Heartland Funeral Services Ltd. Olds entrusted with arrangements
