Our hearts are saddened as we announce the passing of Riek peacefully at the Sundre Hospital on May 9, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Her love and presence impacted everyone around her, not only her immediate family but into each community they lived. She will be dearly missed by the many hearts she has touched. She was a kind and caring grandmother to twenty grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is also dearly loved by one sister, two younger brothers and their wives, three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law all residing in Holland, and sister-in-law, Ann Reimert of Sundre as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Riek is predeceased by her parents, four brothers, one sister, several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, a niece and nephews, and son-in-law, Greg Ramsay.
