Obituary for Ruth Inez Hall
Ruth Inez (Hooper) Hall
Ruth Hall went to be with her Saviour at the age of 92 on January 29, 2016. Ruth was born in Camden Township, Ontario to Earl & Edith Hooper. Ruth married David Hall in 1949 and they went on to make their home in Welland and then later, St. Catherines, Ontario. She was the loving mother of Gwendolyn and Brian. She enjoyed her family and loved baking, crocheting, needlework, helping in the church kitchen, and being involved in ladies’ Bible study. She moved to Chatham, Ontario in 1998 and then to Didsbury, Alberta in 2008.
She is survived by her children, Gwendolyn and Brian; her granddaughters, Jessica, Jeneen, and Kaira; and great-grandchildren, Connor and Bailey. Thank you to Dr. Andrew Jackson and the staff at Didsbury Hospital for their care for her in her final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Gideons, Shalom Counselling and the Olds Pregnancy Care Centre. A Memorial Service was held at Olds First Baptist Church on February 4, 2016. Internment was at the Didsbury Cemetery.
