Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Arthur Scott can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Arthur Scott

Arthur Innes Scott passed away quietly at his home in Red Deer County on July 28, 2014. Born in Scotland August 27, 1920, he immigrated to Canada with his parents and brothers in 1927 where they settled and farmed in the Clearview District. He was predeceased by his brothers Bill and Allan, his second wife Gladys (Auvigne), daughter-in-law Shirley (Jim), and companion Lee Kowk. He is survived by his sons Jim of Red Deer, Brian (Helen) of Delburne, daughter Cathy (Lorne) of Edmonton, Stepson Greg Kurp (Char) of Red Deer County, Stepdaughter Gloria Kennedy (Lyle) of Prince George, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Heartland Funeral Home, 4415 49 St., Innisfail Alberta on Wednesday August 6th at 1PM. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations in Arthur's honor may be made directly to the charity of one's choice
