Obituary for Louise Jackson

Thelma Louise Jackson
Aug. 7, 1931 – Aug. 2, 2014
Louise was born in Innisfail and raised on the family farm west of town. She went to school in Markerville until she finished Grade 8 when she left to work. She was always sad about that, she loved to learn. She met her loving husband Joe at a country dance. She went home that night and told Grandma that she had just met the man she was going to marry. Six months later, she did just that. 4 children later and many moves around the province, Joe and Louise settled in Innisfail upon retirement. Mom had a great love for her family. She loved to garden, play games, do crosswords, was a dynamite cook and was a beautiful lady with a beautiful soul. She was loved by all who knew her. Now Mom has moved on to a new adventure and there to greet her was her loving husband Joe, her parents Finna & Elmer Olesen, brothers Leonard, Doug (Joanne), brothers in law Wayne, Jim & Johnny and son in law Ron. Grateful for the strong influence in our lives are her children Brian, Debra, Kathy & Patricia. Celebrating her life are her grandchildren Joseph, Christopher & Benjamin, Stacy, Thomas & Matthew, Veronica & Dana, Ryan & Corey. Sharing in her legacy are her great grandchildren Anora, Chance, Aidan, Guerin, Marcus, Lindsey, Logan, Avery, Grace, Hayley, Alexander, Claire, Jake and Luke and one more on the way. Blessed to have her as a mother in law or grandma by marriage are Linda, Donald, Chris, Tessa, Kenda, Tom, Christopher, Stephanie & Valerie. Honoring her memory are special friends & relatives including sisters Ellen, Mayette, Marlene, brother Ron (Anne) adopted son Tony Montgomery, dearest friends Bruce & Brenda Ramstead and a large Jackson family in Ontario. A celebration of Louise’s life will be held at the Library Learning Centre Community Room, (5300A 55 Street Close, Innisfail) on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be made to the Stephen J. Stephansson House or to STARS Air Ambulance. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Heartland Funeral Services, Ltd., Innisfail.
