DEMERS, Norman Joseph (1950 - 2018)

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Norman Demers announce his sudden passing on June 18, 2018 at the age of 67. He will be especially missed by his wife of 47 years, Maureen (nee Kimmel); three daughters Melissa (Bill) Gunn, Heather (Dave) Searle, and Nicole (Tanner) Kubinec; nine beloved grandchildren, Brandon, Brooklyn, and Bretton Gunn, Reid and Grant Searle and Grady, Jensyn, McCoy and Sayler Kubinec. Norman was predeceased by his parents, Honore “Pete" and Laura Demers and mother and father in-law, Albert and Elsie Kimmel, as well as his granddaughter, Blair Kubinec. Norm will be lovingly remembered for his kind and gentle heart, his generosity, his dedication and passion for his business, his loyalty, his wisdom and above all, his love for his family, his friends and his life. Saying goodbye is not going to be easy! A celebration of Norman's life will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2 p.m at the Trochu Community Centre. A private interment will take place prior to the service at the Trochu Lutheran Cemetery. In memory of Norm, donations may be made to the Three Hills Victim Services Association.
