Muriel Katherine Stephenson
Muriel Stephenson, at the age 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 2 2017, at St. Mary’s Care Centre in Trochu, Alberta. Muriel was born in Innisfail, but called the farm west of Huxley, home. Muriel will be loving remembered by her son Gary and his children Kelly Stephenson, Kim (Brett) Johannson, Billie Jo (Sejean) Chalifoux, and 9 Great Grand children. As well as her son Rob (Debbie). She also leaves to mourn Ken (Edie) Thurston, Paulette Brazil, Glen Ferguson, Eldena (Gary) Adam, Ken Stephenson, and her life long friend Maxine Meding. Muriel was predeceased by her husband, Donald, her parents Harold and Marjorie Thurston, siblings Ella Ferguson, George Thurston and brother in law Roy Stephenson. Funeral Services were held at Heartland Funeral Chapel in Olds Alberta on June 9 2017 with interment Arthurvale Cemetery where she was laid to rest with Donald.
