It is with great sadness that the family of Yvonne Jensen announce her passing on October 28, 2021 at the age of 72. Born and raised in Olds, Alberta, Yvonne moved to Fort McMurray in the late 60s where she married and raised her family. She was a dedicated homemaker who volunteered at her daughters’ school for many years prior to re-entering the workforce. Throughout the late 80s until her retirement in 2014, Yvonne was a dedicated retail sales associate. In the late 90s, she moved to Edmonton, where she later became a full-time caregiver to her mom. Yvonne believed in giving to those less fortunate and was a generous donor to many charities.

Predeceased by her parents Ralph and Annie (Enzi) Jensen, sister DeLores Purin and daughter Kristin Stewart, she will be lovingly remembered by her former husband Gerald Kruger and their daughters Melanie Kruger and Alison (Steve) Kruger Seltenrich, grandchildren Colton (Jolene) Jones, Mia and Ben Seltenrich, great grandson Ragnar Jones, brother Harvey (Marj) Jensen, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

A private family graveside service will take place on November 4, 2021, at Olds Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
