Thomas Jerry Saunders

Jerry was an Albertan through & through. He was born in Olds, graduated High School in Caroline & spent most of his life in the Sundre area. He passed peacefully in Sylvan Lake surrounded by loved ones.
He was a hard worker & was one of the 1st hunting guides in the N.W.T. He was even part of a documentary called “Challenging the Northwest Territories”. He formed Saunders Contractors along with his father and brothers & then went on to own & operate a pressure truck. He loved woodworking, gardening, skiing, fishing, camping & dancing (there was always a lineup of ladies wanting to Jive with him).
He was predeceased by his wife Darlene, brother Duane, parents Art & Elsie, daughter Debbie, and great grandson Colt.
He is survived by his brother Allan (Gwenda), sister Judy, sister-in-law Pat, children Tod (Krista), Angie (Jeff), Kalinda (Derek) & their families.
