Shirley Mae Hicks passed away in hospice on October 2, 2020 at the age of 87 years. She will be fondly remembered by many for her positive outlook, her loyal friendship and her love of cats. Born in Hanna, AB in 1933, Shirley trained as a registered nurse, working in Calgary, AB and California, as well as serving in the Canadian Armed Forces. Retiring in Olds, she enjoyed volunteering and connecting with the community. Shirley will be laid to rest with her parents in Banff, AB.
