It is with profound sadness that the Smith family announce that Sharon Arlene Smith passed away surrounded by her family, after a brief battle with cancer, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the age of 77 years. Sharon was born in Turtleford, Saskatchewan on August 6, 1945, to Bob and Dorothy Mick, a younger sister to Lorne and Margery. Sharon and Jim were married on November 6, 1965, at the Bowden Institution Chapel, because it was built by her dad. Sharon loved her family and friends, and was fiercely protective of them all, whether related by blood or not. She was our biggest cheerleader. Her most cherished times were hanging out with kids, grandkids, family and friends. She loved it when we would all gather at their place at Silveridge RV Resort in Mesa, Arizona. Sharon is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Jim, her son, Colin (Robyn) and his children, Presley, Brynn, Devyn and Hudson; and her daughter, Coralie (Stephen) and her children, Keegan (Sam), Ailey and Chohee (Jehun).
