Sharon Ann Overwater (nee Brandt) was born February 7th, 1951 in Camrose, Alberta to Jean Gouldie (nee Brandt). She met her husband, Anthony “Tony” Overwater shortly after Remembrance Day in 1970 and on October 9th, 1971, they were married. They moved to Didsbury after two years and raised two sons, Gregory and Jordan. Sharon loved family above all else. She had a special fondness for her grandchildren Austin and Emma. She also took joy in her extended family, which grew substantially later in life when she set out to find her birth father Charles Ray. Sharon loved to travel, and was fortunate to visit many places around the globe. Many of her favorite memories were of vacationing with family and RVing with Tony. She is survived by her husband Tony; sons Greg, Jordan; grandchildren Austin, Emma; maternal siblings Joel, Mary-Jane; paternal siblings Rick, Cheryl, Karen, Candyce, and Darren and many aunts and uncles. Sharon is predeceased by her mother, Jean, father Charles and maternal brothers Allen, Robert, and Harold.
