Ruby Irene Lachman passed away in the arms of her Lord and Savior April 8, 2020 surrounded in the love of the staff of Cedar Villa Extendicare, Calgary, Alberta , and the love of family and friends.
Ruby was number 7 of a family of 8. Ruby was born to Dilman and Mary Lachman, Olds, Alberta. She was predeceased by her parents Dilman and Mary Lachman, brother-in-law Richard Ware, 1 niece and 1 great nephew. Ruby is survived by Clarence and Joyce Lachman, Vera and Ken Neufeld, Clara and Leroy Somers, Arnold and Barbara Lachman, Sam and Brenda Lachman, Pearl Ware, Gladys and Jim Kauppil. 20 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews, 19 great great nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends who all meant a lot to Ruby.
From Ruby's family, our heartfelt thanks to Cedars Villa Extendicare Nursing Home staff for the years of dedicated care and love that was shown to our sister Ruby. Also to the special care given the last few days of her life. Holding her hands and singing Amazing Grace as she went home to her Heavenly Father. We know you are grieving for her as well and we care.
