It is with great sadness the family of Robert Vollmin announces his passing on December 27, 2021 at the age of 95 years. He was quite the quintessential entrepreneur over the years. He made use of his mechanic’s license owning several service stations, a motel, a tree planting business and two bowling alleys. In his retirement years he enjoyed restoring bikes. Robert was a fearless and hardworking man for sure. He will be greatly missed by his daughters; Jackie Van Tighem, her son Travis (Amy) and grandsons Cameron and Carson; Sandra (Alf) Cadman, her son Kelly Larson and granddaughters Meagan (Chuck) and Nicole; granddaughter Kimberley (Kent) and great grandchildren Elias, Finn and Willow; grandson Clayton; brother Sidney (Kay) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sons, Keith and Lee. He will return to his home town in Sundre for his final resting.
