The family of Robert Thomas McClean of Sundre, Alberta is sad to announce that he passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 81 years.
Robert was well known for his love of the outdoors and could be found most often doing yard work, spending time in his garden during the summer months, and enjoying rodeos and wagon races.
Robert leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Betty Joyce McClean, four stepdaughters: Robbie, Dallas (Rob), Susan, and Val (Wilf), sisters Joyce and Sharon, sister-in-law Barb and their families. As well as those who knew him as their “Papa Bob”: Jaymie (Sameer), Justin (Elycia), Elizabeth (Justin), Alisa, KayCee (Tanner), John (Michelle) and family, Angie (Curtis), as well as seven great-grandchildren, and his special friend OJ the cat.
A memorial service will be held on June 11, 2022, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Alisa Brace for the Mountain View and Area Futures of Rodeo Scholarship Fund.
