Obituary for Rita Eales

Rita Noreen Eales was born November 23,1942 in Gloucester City, England. While growing up Rita worked at a grocery store where she met the love of her life, John Eales. She did not make it easy on him. He would come into the store and bring her favourite chocolate bars, but she would turn him down. Then one day he stopped and then she realized that he was the one. They married on August 26, 1961. They welcomed their two eldest children, Paul and Sharon before moving to Canada. On May 18, 1966, they began their journey and that ended in Saskatoon, SK where they had their third child Sarah. After spending a few years in Saskatoon they moved to Calgary, AB where Deana was born. They moved out to the Didsbury area where they raised their children, and where Rita worked as a cook. They moved a few more places after that (too many to count) and then finally ending in Olds.
Rita loved to play BINGO, spending time with her friends playing cards, talking to her sisters and friends on the phone. John and Rita would spend many weekends garage saling and going to Drive-ins. They loved to just get in the car and start driving. She was very proud of the family that she created. And she was grateful for her children and her grandchildren.
Rita was predeceased by both her parents Allan and Mabel, her husband John, her brothers Brian, Ian and Kevin and her sister Kay, and many close friends.
She will forever be remembered by her sisters Karen Stones (Francis) and Lesley Jabour (Jason) and sister in law Chris Stones. She is missed deeply by her 4 children Paul Eales (Louise), Sharon Dietrich (Steve), Sarah Pedersen (Randy) and Deana Campbell, her 12 grandchildren Jessica (Cory), Travis, Carley, Cassandra, Colbey, Amanda, Chris, Amelia, Matthew, Shelby, Courtney and Colton and 5 great grandchildren Jasmine, Tristian, Kennedy, Lucas and Aiden. Along with many more brother in laws, sister in laws, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
