Rheal (Ray) Clarence Ducharme
1949-2022
It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Rheal, who passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2022 at the age of 72 yrs. At the time of his death, he was living in Bowden, AB. He was born and raised in Sturgeon Falls, ON, and throughout his life lived in many places across Ontario and Alberta. He enjoyed time with friends doing karaoke, working on cars and doing woodwork in his earlier years. He also had a great sense of humour. He was the son of the (late) Roland Ducharme, and the (late) Gertrude Ducharme (née Ricard) of Sturgeon Falls; brother of Jacqueline Jeanveau (Edmond) of Sudbury, Yvon Ducharme (Lilian) of Sturgeon Falls; Richard Ducharme of Sturgeon Falls; Francine Michaud (André) of Sturgeon Falls and Gilles Ducharme of North Bay. He will be missed by his two daughters Tamara Lemieux (Denis) of Timmins, ON and Anick Jodouin (Vince) of Hanmer, ON. Ray is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, a great grandson, many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and plenty of friends. The family would like to thank the devoted nurses and staff in the Dialysis Unit at the Olds Hospital in Olds, AB, whom he spoke very highly of.
