Obituary for Rev. Harry Merlin Johnson

JOHNSON
On January 16, 2020 Harry was ushered into the presence of Jesus. He was born in Donald, Washington U.S.A. on December 20, 1934. He attended high school in Yakima, then on to Cascade College in Oregon for his teaching degree. With his wife Carolyn, he attended Mt. View Bible College. He was ordained into the Christian ministry April 1965.He truly enjoyed both of his vocations. He taught and ministered both in Washington and Alberta. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Carolyn (Snyder) Johnson; daughter Valita (Brian) Oldridge; 4 grandchildren, Lavina Palsky, Andre Oldridge, Joshua Oldridge, Aleta Oldridge; 4 great-grandchildren Ara Palsky, Eli Palsky, Selah Palsky, Isaiah Palsky. He was predeceased by 2 daughters Joylene and Angela; mother and father Leonard & Ivy; his only sibling Laura Huston. Harry will be laid to rest beside his girls at the Didsbury Cemetery.
