Obituary for Merle Mjolsness (Matthews)
It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Merle on August 4, 2022 at the age of 94 years while residing in a LTC facility in Courtenay BC.
During visits to her over the last few months, she always asked to go see her mother and father Alice and Endred Mjolsness. She will now be resting beside them in a family plot at the Bergen Cemetery, Alberta.
Merle (mom) was predeceased by both of her husbands. Ed Samuel and Alan Matthews (both wonderful people); raised 6 boys and helped out with 3 stepsons.
