It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our dear brother Keith Koester at the age of 63 years. Keith was born June 11, 1959 in Didsbury, AB to Lloyd and Simone Koester. He is survived by his 2 sisters Judy (Herbert), and Linda; 3 brothers Michael (Laverne), Randy and Bradley; nieces Sharon, Noella and Christina; nephews Rod, James, Mike, Shane, Travis and Cody as well as their families. He was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Simone and brother-in law Raymond Prohl. Keith was raised in Calgary in the Bowness area, where he made long-time friends from that area that he kept in contact with and are his closest buddies. He attended school in Calgary and after completing school he went to work at Carling O’Keefe Brewery in the Inglewood part of Calgary. Keith had a great love for outdoors, spending time in the Water Valley area. He had a keen interest in nature and a special love for vintage pick up trucks. He loves being around family and attended a lot of family gatherings. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
