Mrs. Judi Darlene Becker was born to June and Ken Lasseter in Calgary, Alberta on February 7, 1947. Judi, formerly of Innisfail, Alberta but recently of La Crete, Alberta passed away at La Crete on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the age of 75 years, after a short battle with cancer. Judi lived in Calgary, Alberta until the age of three when she, her mom, and her brother Rick moved to Timmins, Ontario where she lived until she was in grade nine. Judi then moved to Calahoo, Alberta and lived with relatives completing grade twelve in Cochrane, Alberta. After high school, Judi completed her hairdressing training. Judi met and later married Frank Becker in 1969. They welcomed their sons Ryan in 1971 and Adam in 1973, adopted daughter Regan in 1974 and Scott joined their family in 1980. They lived in Red Deer, Alberta until 1977 when they moved to Innisfail, where Frank managed the Civic Tire shop and Judi did the books for his tire businesses. Judi was a very active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she took pride in teaching Sunday school and participating in ladies’ activities as part of the church. Genealogy was one of Judi’s passions which she continued right up until she went into palliative care, taking pride in discovering thousands of relatives. Judi was predeceased by her parents, her son, Adam in 1973 and her son, Scott in 2020. Judi is lovingly remembered by her husband Frank, her son Ryan (Karie), her brothers Rick (Cindy) and Warren (Kelly) and sisters Linda (Don) and Lori (Matt). Judi will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren Lucas Becker (Kanae) and Avery (Matthew) Peters and Sophie Goodfellow and Ruthie Cornwall and great grandchildren Brynn, Drew and Owen Peters and Miya and Amelia Goodfellow as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
