1930 – 2022
Jim Petersen passed away peacefully August 7, 2022 after a lengthy hospital stay at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his loving daughters Darlene Merrill, Jean Rowland and Lila Vastenhout; 2 brothers Ted and Ivan Petersen and a sister DollyAnn Mackintosh. Jim was predeceased by his wife Adeline; 3 sons Jim, John and Walter as well as his oldest daughter Irene. A graveside service will be held at the Sundre Cemetery on August 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Jim’s name may be made directly to the charity of choice.
