Jim peacefully held the Hand of our Lord and was taken Home on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Seasons Encore Hospice, Olds, Alberta at the age of 79 years.
A strong and caring man was Jim. He enjoyed working with his horses and farming, camping and spending time outdoors. His family and friends were most dear to him and he cherished all that he loved. Jim always gave you his Time, as You mattered to him.
Jim was born on August 31, 1942 in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan to Elizabeth (Zimmerman) and Frank Klug from Fox Valley. He grew up on their farm and spent many years in the Fox Valley/Maple Creek community before venturing off to further his education and career with Atco Gas in Calgary, marry, have two daughters, Karilynn and Kathy, with their mother Anmarie (Stark) Klug.
Jim is lovingly remembered by his daughters; Karilynn (Ian) Marshall and grandchildren, Katie (Dan) Imler, Garnet (Meghan), Ky (Dani) and great grandchildren; and Kathy (Brad) Dallas and grandchildren, Karleen (Nathan) Stearns, and Dawson - All from the Bowden, Alberta area; Sister Betty (Tony-predeceased) Miller and family from Maple Creek, SK; brother Richard (Geraldine) Klug and family from Mission, BC; brother Tony-predeceased (Emily) Klug and family from Medicine Hat, Alberta. Jim is also predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Frank Klug as well as a brother who passed away at birth.
