Obituary for Gwenda Sorensen
It is with great sadness that the family of Gwenda Michelle Sorensen announce her passing after a battle with cancer, on Monday, July 6, 2020, at the age of 48 years. Gwenda will be lovingly remembered by her parents, David and Sara Letkemann, her children, Stephanie (Mark) Dyck, Sydney (Catlin) Johnson, and Jace, and her brothers Geoff Letkemann, and Greg (Carmel) Letkemann. Gwenda will also fondly remembered by her two grandchildren, Roxanne and Luke Dyck, as well as her extended family, dear friends, and clients.
Professionally, Gwenda was a very important member of the community, and will be remembered as an excellent stylist, mentor, friend, and business owner to many in the area.
A Celebration of Gwenda’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. at Wimborne Hall, 109 1 St S, Wimborne, AB T0M 2G0 Memorial donations in memory of Gwenda may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 325 Manning Rd NE #200, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5
