Obituary for Frank Byce

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Frank Byce of Olds, Alberta.

Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and in-law. Frank is survived by his loving wife Beverley, his son Geoff, daughter-in-law Vicki, grandchildren Christopher and Andie; siblings Maureen, Katherine (Roger), Rick, Janice, David (Terry Sue), Neil (Gillian), and families; mother-in-law Mae Burroughs, in-laws Bobbie (George), Bruce (Brenda), and families. He was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Frances Byce, and his son Christopher.

Frank worked as a millwright and safety director for many years at the Port Alice Pulp Mill. His love of hockey led him to be a volunteer coach in minor hockey for many years. He spent many hours volunteering as a coach and minor hockey executive.

Frank and Beverley moved from Port Alice, British Columbia, to Olds, Alberta, to be closer to Geoff and Vicki. He was very proud of his family.

There will be no service at this time. His ashes will be spread in Qualicum Beach later in the year.
