Edward Bentley Harris Franklin passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at home at the age of 65 years. Ed was born in Kemano, B.C. on August 28, 1955, son of Frank and Olive Franklin. He was an avid sports lover, especially at the local level. He loved keeping the stats for many local sports teams. At this time of year, Ed particularly loved Hallmark Christmas movies. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend, and will be deeply missed by those close to him. Ed is survived by his sisters, Linda (Norman) Wournell; Terrie (Shaun) McEwen; Stella (Tom) Robb; sister-in-law Millie (Bill) Franklin and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. Ed was predeceased by his parents Frank & Olive Franklin; brother William “Bill” Franklin and brother-in-law Norman Wournell. The family would like to thank the first responders that attended him. Your compassion was appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held in Carstairs at a later date.
