Obituary for Don Palmer
Don Palmer of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Aspen Ridge Lodge in Didsbury Alberta on March 9, 2020 at the age of 93 years.
Dad was born January 16, 1927 in Calgary AB. He was married twice, and was predeceased by Jeanne (nee McCaig) in 1961 and Phyllis Joyce (nee McKinstry) in 2006. Don was also predeceased by his youngest daughter, Danna Heighes, in 1992.
Dad loved life as a Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, musician, and printer. He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Dawne Clark, Debbie Weltzin; his son and daughter-in-law Dale and Allison Palmer; his five grandchildren, Terry Clark (Kinga), Erin Friesen (Ernest), Noel Clark, Yolanda Weltzin (Calyn), Kathryn Palmer, and four wonderful great grandchildren. His glowing smile, sense of humour, and the sparkle in his sky-blue eyes influenced our family for the better.
