Dave passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Judy; daughter Tracey Reid; son-in-law Ben; son Justin and wife Valerie; grandchildren Ashton, Sydney, Zachary, Isabella, and Anastacia; sister Helen Porter, brother Larry, sister Bonnie Litwin and husband Brian, and brother-in-law Fred Barg. He is predeceased by his parents Roy and Grace; sister Eileen Barg; brother-in-law Gary Porter; sister-in-law Lory Isaac; and nephew Darryl Barg. Dave loved God, his family, the church and farming. He was always a farmer at heart and enjoyed many years farming with his brother Larry on the family farm near Carstairs, Alberta. His hobbies included trips to Arizona with Judy, family vacations, spending time in the mountains, woodworking, and designing and building a model railroad. Dave loved his grandchildren greatly and enjoyed every moment he spent with them. He will be remembered for his quiet steady faith, integrity and his ability to fix almost anything. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Samaritans Purse or a charity of your choice.
