Obituary for Daniel 'Dan' Douglas Zaleski

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the sudden passing of Daniel Zaleski of Innisfail, Alberta on November 15, 2021 at the age of 56 years. Dan was born on March 26, 1965 and grew up in Innisfail where he attended grade school. He then went off to Red Deer College in 1993 and became a Journeyman Welder. Dan loved welding and took a lot of pride in his work. Throughout his life he had many hobbies and passions. He loved to play hockey, ski, camp, golf and cook. He was an avid hunter and fisherman that would never pass on a trip with his buddies. Dan was an honest, kind, strong-willed man with a big heart for those he loved. Whenever he met someone he was always ready with a good story or a funny saying. Dan is lovingly remembered by his son, Clay Zaleski, his daughter, Shelby Zaleski (Mike), his sisters, Stephanie Bignell (Darcy) and Angie Richard (Brian), his step-dad, Harry Gow and his three nephews, Jaxon, Maddex and Xaiden Bignell. He also remains in the hearts of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and very dear friends. Dan was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine Gow, his father, Dallas Zaleski, his grandmother, Nanny Zaleski, his grandfather, Frank Zaleski, his Granny, Louise Scott and his Grandad, Douglas Scott.
