July 4, 1997-August 18, 2020

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Gabrielle Leussink who passed away suddenly in a work accident. Born in Red Deer Regional Hospital on July 4, 1997, Brie resided in Sundre for the majority of her life. People were drawn to Brie and her fun loving nature. Everyone who knew her can attest to her kind heart, and generosity of spirit. She was a music lover and often performed with her friends just for the love of it. Brie enjoyed hunting with her dad, and was active in many sports. She definitely lived life to the fullest. Brie loved the outdoors and the country life and was an avid traveler. She was attending school to become a teacher and pursue her dream of helping African children learn. She will be dearly missed by her parents Paul and Yvonne Leussink; siblings Emily, Paulson, Abby (Daryl) and Jessica; maternal grandmother Ellie Coderre; nieces Tova and Emma Schrader as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and of course her faithful companion Ruger. A private family service was held. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to Our Lady Of Fatima Catholic Church, Sundre with funds being directed to African Children’s charities. Heartland Funeral Services Ltd., Sundre entrusted with arrangements. 403-638-4393
