Obituary for Basil Edward Dalton

Mr. Basil Edward Dalton passed away at Innisfail, Alberta on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at the age of 95 years. Basil was born on May 1, 1928 at Medicine Hat, Alberta. He attended school in Vauxhall from grades one to twelve, and upon graduating in 1948, he went to work constructing roads throughout Alberta. This became his passion. Basil finished his road construction career working with the Red Deer County after twenty-seven years while he lived in Innisfail, Alberta. He enjoyed his time with his family and friends, being at family reunions, doing word searches, crossword puzzles, hunting and woodworking. Basil will be missed by his stepson, Allan (Linda), his grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and the Chow Family, as well as many friends in the community, his A&W coffee crew and hunting partners. The family would like to thank everyone who helped Basil to live a life well lived. May he rest in peace.
