Obituary for Arvin Lewis Bull

BULL, Arvin Lewis
August 18, 1933 – March 18, 2022
Arvin Lewis Bull, of Olds, Alberta, passed away peacefully at his home, on March 18, 2022, at the age of 88.
Born at Calgary Alberta on August 18, 1933 to John Lewis Bull and Selma Lenna (Nastrom) Bull, Arvin attended Mount Royal College and Olds Agricultural College. On March 21, 1958, he married Audrey Elizabeth Masterson and they had two daughters, Kelly Anne and Sydney Louise. Arvin farmed with his brother, Oliver Bull, in the Balzac area, and in the early ‘70’s the farming business moved to east of Olds, Alberta.
Arvin was an agrarian, a realtor, land and real estate appraiser, town councilor, church member, caregiver.
Arvin was a camper, sportsman, golfer, traveler, cook, wood worker, card player, dancing partner, community leader, willing hand, coffee friend.
Arvin was a son, brother, cousin, father, uncle, grandfather, step-father, dear friend, widower.
Arvin is survived by his daughters, Sydney Bull and Kelly Vanderzwan, sons-in-law, Scott Ellison and Rick Vanderzwan and grandchildren, Parker Vanderzwan (Mary) and Kate Burton (Pete). He is also survived by his brother, Oliver Bull and wife, Mary Ann, and their sons Lorentz Bull and Justin Bull, and their families. Arvin is also survived by cousins in Alberta and Washington State, step families, and beloved friends.
Arvin was predeceased by his mother and father, first wife Audrey (Masterson) Bull, second wife Pauline (Boychuk) Brown and last wife Margaret (Sisson) Brown.
Even though cancer took him away from this world, his loving heart leaves a shining light for all who knew him.
A private interment ceremony was held at the Olds Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
