ROBERTSON. ADAM
Adam Edward Robertson was born September 24, 1931 in Innisfail, Alberta to Adam and Doris Robertson and passed away October 2, 2022 at Clearwater Care Centre in Rocky Mountain House. Adam was a farmer at heart. He was raised on a farm west of Bowden, where he attended White Creek School. During this time Adam married the love of his life, Dorothy Cowley in July 1959. Adam moved back to the farm to the house he built in 1963 where he ran the family’s mixed farm and dairy with help from his family. He lived on the farm until 10 days before he passed away. Adam was active in the White Creek and Eagle Hill communities, involved with the community centres and the curling clubs. He was also an Eagle 4-H Club leader, was on the boards of the Eagle Hill Co-op and Credit Union, as well as a delegate for the Central Alberta Dairy Pool. Adam is survived by wife of 63 years, Dorothy; sons Kevin (Kelsey), Gordon (Julie) and four grandchildren; Tyleena (Kaegan) Lakeisha, Kaelen and Amelie. He is also survived by his sister Jean Reid; two nephews Alan (Mary) Reid and Doug (Laurel) Reid and brother-in-law Gary Cowley. He is predeceased by his parents, his niece Christine (Don) Jenkins and brother-in-law Edwin Reid. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Eagle Hill Hall or to S.T.A.R.S.
