Peacefully on October 18, 2019 with his loving family at his side, Lawrence Ralph Reinhold Palmquist aged 87 passed away at the Three Hills Health Care Centre. Lawrence was born in Winnipeg and raised in the Hazelridge District near Dugald, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Phylis on January 6, 2016 and his brother Carl in 2013. He is survived by his four children Randy (Jane); Judy (Terry); Lorne (Maxine); Shawn (Theresa); three sisters Margaret, Eileen, Janet and one brother Norman. Lawrence has seven grandchildren Heather (Jeff), Erin (Scott), Kyle (Savannah), Travis (Danielle), Scott (Alyssa), Amy (Dustin) and Amanda; six great-grandchildren Danielle, Dane, Alexander, Linden, Ares and Mikaela. Special thank you to St. Mary’s Health Care Centre, Three Hills Health Care Centre and their staff, caregivers, and volunteers in supporting Lawrence with his health challenges. Should friends or family desire a memorial donation in favour of the Pallative Care Unit at the Three Hills Health Care Centre would be greatly appreciated. Funeral services were held on Monday October 21, 2019 at the Heartland Funeral Services Chapel, Olds. Interment followed at the Three Hills Cemetery.
