Beverley Ann Severtson
1945 - 2019
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley Ann Severtson on April 10, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband Gary and their two children Scott (Lisa) and Corey (Christine). As well as her brother Fran (Jocelyn) and, of course, her pride and joy her grandchildren Levi, Amy, Mark, Eric, Molly and Ethan. Beverley was born in Port Alberni, B.C to her parents Rita and Frances Trehearne. As her father was a part of the RCMP in his later life, Beverley travelled throughout her young life before finally settling in Innisfail. It is here that she met and married the love of her life Gary and together they began farming. Once her boys grew up and the grandchildren were born she was in her element being able to pour all that love and attention into them and her family and friends
We believe it is her friends Duane and Muriel who said it best about Bev:
“She is truly an amazing person, wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother.”
Bev also loved to garden, travel, and take pictures and her hobbies continued to grow. She joined a swimming group and called them her “swimming girls” However, it was her love affair with scrapbooking that made her so happy. And in doing so she has left an amazing gift for the rest of her family, the love and care in each book is evident as you turn every page, and you feel her presence as you do so. The memories are truly spectacular. How lucky are we to have had her in our lives! We may have lost our wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend but she will continue to live on in our hearts and prayers. There will never be a day that passes by where she is not only remembered but cherished.
