Obituary for Terry Allan Kennedy

KENNEDY
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Terry Kennedy. Terry passed away suddenly near Stettler, Alberta on March 11, 2019 in the company of friends. He was fondly known to many as Ter or man. Terry was pre-deceased by his parents, Doris Kennedy in 1991 and Roy Kennedy in 2017. He is survived by his siblings Blake (Carol) Kennedy - Huxley, AB; Randy Kennedy (Louise) - Rocky Mountain House, AB; Jacqueline (Ken) McCook - Innisfail, AB; Darryl Kennedy (Sandeep) - Cobourg, ON; and Margaret (Stephen) Unser - Coquitlam, BC. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews (Jason, Alisha, Melanie, Justine / Shane, Brittany / Emily / Cara, Melodie / Gabe, Sam) and great nieces and nephews (Madelyn, Amelia, Destiny / Max, Zach, Sophia, Marnie/ Elinor). Terry also leaves behind 2 aunties, Macrena (Leslie) Howatt, Victoria, PEI and Jane McLeod, Surprise, AZ. Terry leaves behind many friends and in particular, a lifelong friend in Ron Beaulieu. From an early age Terry enjoyed cooking and baking, particularly with his Grammy K. He could often be found baking up a mean batch of bread or cookies that he would lovingly share with his family. This love of cooking and baking carried into his adult life as he became a cook on many geological camps in northern Canada. Terry also loved with a strong passion, many different animals, and cared for them often times better than he cared for himself. It’s quite surprising at the time of his passing, that he only had two kitties and not 10! Although our lives took very different paths, the bonds from our childhood that we forged remain and will be with us forever.
