Condolence: So sorry to hear of this loss. Mr Webster was such a fond memory of my time at Innisfail High school. If it wasn't for him, I would not have gotten my Rutherford scholarships for schooling. My best memory though is how he teased me to no end about shaving my head to mourn the loss of the King of Swaziland, a few months before our family moved there. He was a great man who touched a thousand hearts. He will be missed greatly.

Condolence: I had the distinct pleasure of not only having Mr. Webster as my Jr./Sr. High principal but of living directly next door to him for most of my childhood and teen years. I can't recall a time he (or Mrs. Webster) didn't greet me with a smile and some friendly, funny banter. They were always welcoming, always engaging and, as a kid, they seemed larger than life to me. Their voices, laughter, obvious affection for each other & spirit are forever ingrained in my memories fondly. Mr. Webster was the first adult to ever call me mister & the first to treat me as an equal in conversation. He gently & graciously taught me a few lessons on respect that I'll never forget. They may have been small moments for him but had a big impact on me. And to this day I can't help but think about Mr. Webster every single time I shovel my walk. It was one of my main chores as a kid but there was many an occasion if I didn't get out there immediately after a snowfall I'd discover he'd already shovelled our walk along with the opposite neighbours'. I managed to return the favour when I'd beat him out there but, if I'm honest, I was never in a rush and probably owe him at least half of my childhood allowance. It's now become habit for me to shovel the walks of my neighbours on both sides when I can and my aching middle-aged back has Mr. Webster to thank for that. He was a wonderful person and to Mrs. Webster, Gordon & the rest of the family my deepest condolences and much love your way. Bless.

Condolence: Mr Webster was an exceptional educator and a truly genuine man. Years after graduating Mr Webster still recognized me in the community and was so kind and caring in wanting to know how life was and what new and exciting things were going on. I was saddened to hear of his passing and send my condolences to his family.

Condolence: Mr. Webster was the principle throughout my time at Innisfail Jr/Sr (80’s) and I remember him fondly. I know that he had a positive influence on many students, myself included. Over the years, I would occasionally run into Mr. Webster out in the community. He always remembered me and greeted me with a smile. He always took the time for a short visit and to ask how my family was doing. I really appreciated that. Ted was a genuine and kind man and will be missed. My condolences to the entire family.

Condolence: Grade 12 was 33 years ago, but still remember him well. He was endearingly both funny and unfunny to have as a principal, in the sense that he had the capacity to laugh with you and then not laugh with you... He saw a lot of changes during his lifetime, changed a lot of lives and I suspect he broke through a lot of barriers. My condolences to his family.

Condolence: Mr. Webster was one of my role models. We met several times after I'd graduated high school and had moved away. He always had a smile, and as others have noted, always remembered my name. Very easy to talk to, always had a positive attitude and never appeared to get flustered. Not readily apparent character traits for a high school principal. He will be missed but not forgotten. My condolences to his wife Valerie and the rest of his family.
