Obituary for Doris Marie McNaughton

Doris Marie McNaughton
It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Doris McNaughton (nee Bannick), our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Doris passed away peacefully on April 30, 2018 at the Sundre Hospital. Doris was born on December 16, 1942 in Rose Lynn, Alberta to Elsie and Bert Bannick and was the oldest daughter of the seven children. She will be sadly missed, but forever remembered by her daughters Shelly (John) Lumgair, Wendy (Peter) Dichrow; four precious grandchildren, Cole, Darby, Josh and Sam; her sisters Donna (Ernie) Evans, Doreen (Wes) Kern, Phyllis Bannick (Dereck Kemp) and sister in law Annette Bannick as well as her numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved so dearly. She is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Bert and Elise, her oldest brother, Albert, her sister Carol, and her youngest brother Jimmy. A celebration of life will be held on Monday May 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sundre Community Centre. Memorial tributes may be made directly to Sundre Cooking for Kindness. “Beauty is not seen with the eyes, but with the heart.”
