Obituary for Nadine Leanne Gordon

Nadine Leanne Gordon

Nadine Gordon was born in Lestock Saskatchewan and raised in a small farming community just outside Wishart Saskatchewan. She carried the love and comfort of working with her hands in the dirt throughout her life. After moving away in her late teens, Nadine was married and began raising two children immediately, Sean and Dionne. Shortly after, Nadine had two boys of her own, Justin and Daniel. She worked tirelessly to raise her kids independently. Her family was always the most paramount aspect of her life. It brought her great pride and joy to watch her kids and grandkids grow into beautiful young adults. Dionne married and gave three beautiful grand children to Nadine, Morgan, Kylee and Payton. Justin and Jessica later blessed Nadine and Dean with two more grandchildren, Treyton and Mikaela. They soon became a huge part of their lives as well as bringing many hours, days, weeks and years of pure joy. Nadine always considered Jessica to be her daughter and would not hear otherwise from anyone. Nadine met Dean on March 9th, 2007 and after sitting over coffee for 5 hours… The rest is history. Nadine’s spiritual beliefs were what caught Dean’s attention the most in their first meeting. “We are spiritual beings having a human experience “They became best friends upon sight and were married in March of 2013. Almost immediately she insured that Dean was an active part of the family, weather it was family vacations, supporting in sporting events or just relaxing and laughing with family and friends. For Nadine, the family first value never wavered. Nadine was a person of unbreakable faith, in a God, of her understanding, fate and afterlife. Nadine was kind to a fault, unless crossed… Then Nadine was as stubborn and strong willed as any. Determined and strong, Nadine accomplished many great challenges. In 2016, at the age of 50, one of Nadine’s proudest moments was not only graduating from MC College, but doing it with honors. She loved to shop for the little things and had a great flare and love for decorating. Nadine loved Dean dearly, her family, camping, yardwork; especially gardening, flowers & vegetables. We cannot forget how much she loved re-doing her pond every other year. Nadine and Dean would sit for hours every morning sharing loving thoughts and readings. Nadine was a great listener, who also was never shy about sharing her opinions. Among many things, Nadine loved the sound of geese, flying above and the music of birds enjoying her well-manicured yard, and watching hummingbirds hover above her feet in Palm Desert. Nadine became an avid golfer and traveled through many mountains with Dean on the back his bike. Nadine always looked forward to summers, where her and Dean would get the blessing of packing up the trailer and taking the grandkids camping for a week or two. After which Grandma and Grandpa needed a week of rest. Nadine had one of the most beautiful smiles that all of us were fortunate to enjoy, every time we saw her. As soon as the smile came we all knew it was filled with joy and happiness. Nadine accepted her condition with calm perseverance; as was her way. Nadine’s personality was one of selflessness and even throughout her struggles, family always came before herself. Nadine shall always be remembered for her, strength, unconditional love and pure joy. Nadine was and always shall be a remembered as a wife, mom, sister, grandmother and daughter.
