Condolence From: Bob & Myrna McDonald
Condolence: We were saddened to learn of Deanna's recent passing. Myrna & I are so happy we were able to have lunch with Deanna at Smitty's Restaurant in early December at Olds. As a young police officer I first met Al & Deanna at the Bashaw golf course in 1974 when I was 'scouting out' my next RCMP posting. I recall the wise advice of Al Loshny at that time. He told me - "let's get something straight. When there's work to do we work hard. When there's no work, we play". That was sound advice I have strived to follow. I can't remember all the home cooked meals Deanna prepared for me and the laughs and good times I enjoyed with the Loshny family in their home. Deanna, Al & their children all made me feel accepted and at home. I will cherish those memories forever. Myrna & I have been blessed to have known Deanna, Al, David,Susan & Tim. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

Condolence From: Nick and Anita George
Condolence: Susan, David and Tim and family We were so sorry to hear of Deanna's passing. We were just talking about her recently with mutual friends. She and Al were such a bubbly and fun loving couple and we had many great times together. As a young member, their home was always opened to me and they made me feel like family. Deanna''s laughter could brighten anyone's day and we will never forget it. We are sorry that we cannot attend the service as we will be out of the country.
